How do I assign games to a student?

Practice activities in the form of games can be assigned to a single student. After assigning the playlist, teachers can edit or copy the lesson to assign the same games to students.

Navigate to the MyTouchMath Dashboard

Click the Digital Practice tile

Select "Game Center."

A new window opens

  • Click "Assign To" to create an activity that will be scored and connected to the student's account
  • Click "Model & Teach" to provide immediate practice - the performance will NOT be linked to the student's account.

Assign To

  • Select the student's name from the list of groups
  • Name the activity
  • Choose the assigned date
  • Click Next

Select Skills and Games

  • Use the domain sections to locate the specific skills you want to assign to the student. The number in parentheses shares the total number of games available in each domain.
  • Choose up to 5 games to include in each playlist.

Some of the activities have customization settings. Use the dropdown menu to see the options.

Organize the Playlist

  • Each game is displayed on a tile
  • Notice the theme in the bottom left corner of the tile (Carnival, Sports, and Space themes are available)
  • Some games can be customized. Use the drop-down menu to make adjustments.

  • Add a game to the playlist by clicking on the tile.
  • A number will appear in the top right corner
  • To remove the game from the playlist, click the tile again.

Up to 5 games can be added to a playlist.

The games appear in the list in the order you click on them.

Assign Playlist

  • Once you've added the games you've chosen, scroll to the top of the games list and click Assign

  • The playlist now appears on the student's landing page.
    • In this example, the games playlist is named "Addition Review."

  • The student clicks on the green circle to begin the game
