What happens when I archive a Skill Snapshot?
Once a Skill Snapshot is archived, the data remains available for review while simplifying the student experience.
When Should I Archive a Skill Snapshot?
Consider archiving a Snapshot when the:
- Student has demonstrated proficiency and tracking gains with this specific objective is no longer necessary.
- Student would benefit from a simplified view on their landing page
Archived Skill Snapshots cannot be returned to active status
- This action is permanent
- To continue progress monitoring, create a new Skill Snapshot
- You can replicate the same settings if needed
Step-by-step instructions
- Log into My TouchMath
- Navigate to the Screen and Monitor screen
- Click Skill Snapshot

- Locate the student and click the student's name to open the student detail screen

- Select the Skill Snapshot to archive: in the screenshot below, the Skill Snapshot "Two digits by two digits multiplication" has been selected

- Click the three dots along the right side
- Click Archive Snapshot

- Confirm the archive action
Note: The callout on this screen states that this action is permanent.
What Happens After You Archive
- Snapshot is removed from active student view
- Probe data remains available
- Snapshot moves to Archived list/filter

- No additional probes can be assigned
- Important: Archived Snapshots Cannot Be Reactivated

Can I unarchive a Snapshot?
- No. Once archived, it cannot be reactivated.
Will I lose student data?
- No. All probe data remains available.
