Academic Screeners: How do I assign the Academic Screener?
Math screeners are assigned through the Progress Monitoring tile.
Step-by-Step Guidance
Determine Level and Assign
- Click the Progress Monitoring tile and select "Academic Screener"

The screen will open to one of your Student Groups.
- Use the dropdown to select a different group if needed

- Select at least one student from your Group Roster
- Click Manage Group
- Select Assign/Modify Screener

A new window will open. This is where you select the level of the test, and indicate which (if any) accommodations will be activated for each student.
- Click "Modify Test"

- Select the Academic Screener to be assigned to the student(s) you selected.
- Click Save
Note: selecting "No Academic Screener" will ensure the student doesn't have a screener available to complete.

After clicking save, this window will open
The screener is now available for the student.
Set Accommodations (As Needed)
Accessibility settings are available to support students who have been identified as requiring this level of support on their academic plans (IEP, 504, or similar plan)
To set these accommodations, follow the steps outlined above to select the student and reach this screen.

Click "Modify Accommodations"
This window opens
Select the accommodation(s) for the individual student and click "Save"

Enable Spanish Language Assessment
- Students will see the questions and question elements in Spanish.
- Audio support is also available in Spanish.
Audio Support
Audio support is provided for eligible elements of all screeners. Passages, questions, and answer choices are automatically read aloud*.
- Students will hear the audio by clicking the Speaker button.
- Students can also hover their mouse over a passage, question, or answer choice.
- If the sound icon appears, students can click the mouse to hear that portion again.
*Portions of the items that have audio support vary based on what the item is intended to assess
