How do I create a Collection?
TouchMath’s Collections feature allows educators to organize and store curriculum sheets, resources, and video tutorials in customizable folders. Collections can be tailored for specific students, groups, math topics, or curriculum types, and even color-coded for easier identification.
Steps to Create a New Collection
- Log In to Your Account
- Access your TouchMath account at www.mytouchmath.com and navigate to the dashboard.
- Open the Collections Section
- Locate and click on Collections in the dashboard menu.
- Create a New Collection
- Click the Create Collection button.
- Enter a name for the collection (e.g., “Grade 4 Multiplication,” “Weekly Pretests,” or “Fractions Group Activities”).
- Choose a Color for Your Collection
- Select a color to visually distinguish your collection.
- Use colors strategically to group similar types of resources (e.g., blue for tests, green for lessons).
- Organize the Collection
- Arrange resources by date, topic, or usage frequency.
- Use descriptive file names and group related resources together for easier navigation.
- Save
- Save the collection once complete.
- Add Resources to the Collection
- Use the Save Selected to Collection option to include:
- Curriculum sheets.
- Pretests and posttests.
- Video tutorials.
